What will your college experience look like as an Social Work major?

职业准备: You can expect to receive excellent training from our knowledgeable and skilled 教师. Our 教师 are dedicated to your success. 

现场培训: As part of your curriculum, you will engage in field education and take the skills you learn in the classroom into 社区. Some portions of classes involve practicing skills by helping people with basic needs such as food, 住房, 医疗支持, 或者心理健康. 

校园生活: You will have the opportunity to participate in campus wide events and smaller gatherings hosted by the social work club. We help our students build a support system through relationships with peers, 教师, and staff to enhance their experiences at WWU.

What can your career path as a Social Work major look like?

Your social work degree will prepare you for entry into a wide variety of roles in the social work profession, 无论是在诊所, 学校, 法庭, 或非营利组织. Many social workers pursue graduate level degrees to achieve greater career options and higher pay.
