Adventist Colleges Abroad

Adventist Colleges Abroad (ACA) is a consortium of Seventh-day Adventist Colleges and Universities in North America and Australia which operates under the auspices 的 教育办公室 的 North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists located in Columbia, Maryland. 沃拉沃拉大学 is a member 的 Adventist Colleges Abroad (ACA) consortium. ACA destinations consist of a collection of accredited Adventist schools across Europe, 南美, 和亚洲. 

The ACA consortium provides opportunities to qualified secondary and undergraduate students to study in other countries while completing the requirements 的ir programs at their home colleges. 学生 are immersed in the culture and life of another country while becoming proficient in its language.

There are no language fluency prerequisites for any 的 language programs other than Spanish. All other programs accept students who are total beginners in the target language. 在申请 academic year programs in 阿根廷 or 西班牙, students must have completed either 2 years of Spanish language in high school or 1 year of Spanish in college.  There is no language prerequisite for any 的 summer programs, including 西班牙.

All students wishing to study abroad through ACA must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above and a good student conduct 记录, demonstrating the necessary maturity to have a successful study abroad experience and willingness to support the Adventist lifestyle standards expected on these campuses.

Note that the ACA application is a pdf document that requires signatures from several people/offices at WWU. We recommend that you get those signatures in the following order:

  1. Begin by speaking with the ACA协调员 to get full instructions on how best to complete the application process (辛西娅.Westerbeck@WallaWalla.edu; ADM 209)
  2. Then consult with your academic advisor to make sure you understand the academic implications for spending time abroad.
  3. You will also need to speak with someone in the 澳门线上博彩官网 Office about the financial implications of studying abroad.
  4. Once you have confirmed both the academic and financial viability of studying abroad, get approval from the 学生生活 Office.
  5. 最后, take your application to the Records Office which will confirm your academic eligibility (including verification with 招生) and send your completed application to the ACA office.

Be aware that ACA will not see your application until it has been printed, signed by all 的 people listed above, and submitted by the WWU Records Office.
